Raised in Nashville by her mom, country songwriter Pebe Sebert. Dropped out of high school at age 17 in order to move to L.A. and pursue a music career. Wrote songs recorded by Miley Cyrus and the Veronicas. Finagled her way inside Prince's Beverly Hills home in hopes of getting him to produce her debut album. Sang on the Flo Rida hit "Right Round." Animal, her first album, opened at No. 1 on the Billboard charts.
