Quotes from Kit Harington's Characters
Will Holloway: | If there's something else I have a right to know. |
Roland Leighton: | Does it get any better than cake? |
Vera Brittain: | I'm sorry. I didn't mean to be harsh. |
Roland Leighton: | I've let you down. |
Vera Brittain: | No. |
Roland Leighton: | Now it's here, I have a dust and ashes feeling about it. |
Roland Leighton: | I'd like permission to see Vera again, Mrs Brittain. Fully chaperoned, of course. |
Mrs. Brittain: | We'll see. |
Roland Leighton: | When we're at Oxford, we'll be able to see each other every day. |
Vera Brittain: | I'll be concentrating on my work. |
Roland Leighton: | Well, you'll need fresh air, surely. And a chaperone. |
Roland Leighton: | Edward assures me you won't mind me writing direct. You set me a challenge, you see, and I've done my best to meet it. I hope you find more feeling in this one. Down the long, white road we walked together, Down between the grey hills and the heather, You seemed all brown and soft, just like a linnet, Your errant hair had shadowed sunbeams in it, And there shone all April in your eyes. |
Roland Leighton: | Did you read the poem? |
Vera Brittain: | Of course. |
Roland Leighton: | And? |
Vera Brittain: | It's well-crafted. |
Roland Leighton: | But? |
Vera Brittain: | It was a little dry, as though you were holding back. I couldn't find you in it. |
Roland Leighton: | Well, I can assure you, it's mine. |
Vera Brittain: | Please, I'd rather be by myself. |
Roland Leighton: | It's the books I'm worried about. I've never seen anyone beat them up that way. |
Hiccup: | Welcome aboard, dragon rider! |
Eret Son of Eret: | Thanks... I think. |
Eret Son of Eret: | I am Eret, Son of Eret. |
Vincent Carter: | Never build on an ancient Indian burial ground! I thought everybody knew that. |
Vincent Carter: | You're so close to Alessa... you've allowed the darkness to break through. |
Vincent Carter: | "In the sanctuary, beneath the amusement park,? I can help you" |
Vincent Carter: | In the sanctuary, beneath the amusement park, I can help you. |
