American producer and screenwriter Leonard Spigelgass got his start collaborating on the script of Von Stroheim's Hello Sister (1933). In 1950, Spigelgass received an Oscar nomination for the story of Mystery Street. He was also a playwright and penned such dramas as Dear Me the Sky Is Falling and A Remedy for Winter. He has also written plays for such television series as Playhouse 90. In addition to his screen work, Spigelgass has written novels such as Million Dollar Baby and Fed to the Teeth.
