Sam Underwood

Started taking singing lessons at age 3 and dancing lessons at age 5. Studied at the Karen Clarke Theatre School and the Woking Youth Theatre, both in Woking. Moved to the USA in 2006. Appeared in Equus opposite Alec Baldwin at the John Drew Theatre in East Hampton, New York, in 2010. Co-founded the Fundamental Theatre Project with Nicola Murphyin New York in 2010. Was unaware he was going to play twins on The Following; when he auditioned for the show, he thought his character had a split-personality. In 2017, began playing the role of Jake Otto, the mysterious son of the colony leader, in the thriller series, Fear the Walking Dead.
