Tracey got her first taste of stardom when she won a modeling contest for "No Excuses Jeans". She beat out 5,000 girls across the United States. "No Excuses" flew her to New York City for a photo shoot, rewarded her with $10,000, & she appeared in magazines & advertisements. After that, she finished college at Michigan State University, where she received a BA in communication of arts & sciences & minored in theater & dance.After college, she lived in Denver, Colorado, to build up her on-camera acting experience. While in Denver, she got an agent, took classes, did 3 films, an improvisational TV show, a local commercial, and industrial video, a runway modeling show, a play, & danced with a company for a TV show. This all happened in 10 months, and she now felt ready for L.A.Upon arriving in L.A....Tracey immediately got a commercial/print agent (Abrams Artists Agency). She put together an acting reel. Signed up to do extra work on a film ("Not Another Teen Movie", directed by Joel Gallen), was offered all her SAG vouchers, & then got upgraded to a speaking role in the film. Shortly after, she booked a national commercial for 'Taco Bell'. Got theatrical representation (The House of Representatives). Booked 2 more national commercials (McDonalds & Lowes Home Depot, which was directed by Nick Cassavettes). Booked a guest-starring role on a TV Pilot "Young MacGyver", directed by Stephen Herek and produced by Henry Winkler.Guest starred on "Gilmore Girls" as the seductive college-girl-next-door, a threat to Rory (Alexis Bledel)... Auditioned for "Dr. Vegas" 3 times for producers/writers & they actually wrote her in a Recurring role as Cheryl, the personal manicurist to the casino manager (Joe Pantoliano), filmed one episode, shot another, but then the show got canceled... Had a Recurring role on "What I Like About You", again as the sexy-neighbor to Vince (Nick Zano) and a major threat to Holly (Amanda Bynes)...Cast as the best friend to dumb blonde Farrah (Molly Stanton) as a Recurring Guest Star on the WB show "Twins" & yet again, the show got canceled... She had a supporting role in "Single White Female 2: The Psycho" that is available nation-wide on DVD.Tracey just worked on 2 more films; "You are Here": which premiered in Park City, Utah at the Slam Dance Film Festival & now is available on DVD. And "Look": which premiered in Las Vegas @ the CineVegas Film Festival & won the most prestigious award: The Grand Jury Prize. Booked a pilot presentation, "Follower". The director, David Van Eyssen, is best known for the BMWfilm.com series featuring Clive Owen.Tracey McCall is on the most anticipated new show of the season, "Private Practice" (spin-off of "Grey's Anatomy"). The episode is titled, 'In Which Sam Receives an Unexpected Visitor', she is THAT visitor to Sam (Taye Diggs). Tracey has a unique voice (raspy) & snagged herself the top voice-over agency (ICM) & after being with ICM for only a week, she booked a radio spot for 'Nintendo'. She also has done voice-overs for 2 films, both directed by Zach Horton: "Goodbye" & "Two". She is also a dancer. She performed a modern dance piece in Venice, California for "American Apparel".Sings back-up in a punk-rock band, called 'the Knuckles & the Knock-outs', & performed at the Knitting Factory for a suicide awareness benefit.
