Before long the whole thing degenerates into lame farce.

Switch has an intriguing premise and a terrific performance by Barkin, But it fails to really deliver on its promise.

The invention flags, but the Edwards combination of lust and lustre keeps us watching.

From the Lite FM version of Both Sides Now that accompanies the opening credits to the absolutely hellish heterosexual closure, the movie rejects any possibility of taking its own risks in order to comfortably remain within Hollywood conventions.

Audience Reviews for Switch

Switch is an off the wall film starring Ellen Barkin and Jimmy Smits. A playboy ends up coming back as a woman whom needs to make an actual lady friend....easier said than done for this womanizer. It has some funny scenes worth seeing.

Yet another dreary body swap comedy in which an actress assumes that all men scratch their crotch, fart and spit in public. Now, pull my finger.
