Movie Info

A truck driver falls for a conniving seductress and suddenly finds himself framed for embezzlement and murder in this noir-like crime drama. Mike Lambert was an unemployed mining engineer before taking the trucking job. He becomes the focus of sexy Paula Craig's affection because he closely resembles her lover and co-conspirator Stephen Price, a bank president. Things go well as they set up the unwitting Lambert, but then, Paula finds herself genuinely in love with him. Still the embezzlement proceeds, and afterward, the traitorous Paula kills Price, leaving a best friend of Lambert's to take the fall. When Lambert finally figures it all out, he decides to get revenge.
