When I watched My Girl as a kid, I spent 80% of the movie having Schwinn Bicycle and mood ring envy. Now, I'm also able to appreciate [the] dialogue...
The beauty in this film is in its directness. There are some obligatory scenes. But there are also some very original and touching ones. This is a movie that has its heart in the right place.
My Girl is an exercise in mawkish sentiment, an exploitation picture for the whole family.
Coming of age tale tackles death; for older kids.
Dreadful coming of age movie about kids and death. Kudos for the effort, but it's just depressing.
The ultimate tearjerker. Proof positive that Mac still has what it takes for a comeback!
Audience Reviews for My Girl
Truly Heartbreaking. Such a poignant story.

I have never cried in a film so many times in the last 20 minutes, and i don't cry that often in movies, but i cried a total of 5 times in the last 20 minutes of this movie. But overall the characters are likable, the acting is decent, and the drama is spot on

My Girl, is nothing bad, but is that sentimental, what don't do the full - length a really good.
