The seriocomic crime drama had too few thrills to be thrilling.

Audience Reviews for Borderline

Claire Trevor plays a prostitute/drug runner forced into making a run through Mexico to L.A. Fred MacMurray is a drug henchman/thug trying to squeeze a little drug money action for himself, stealing a drop from the local kingpin. They have to escape bad guy Raymond Burr, who's the kingpin. And so a road trip through Mexico, where our petty criminals have to depend on one another (as per It Happened One Night!) But are they really petty criminals??? Or can love blossom? The chemistry of the stars carry the effort, though both phone in their performances.
