Griffith, this silent drama centers on a independent-minded young man who disregards the wishes of friends, family and his girl friend and leaves the pastoral splendor of the farm to make it big in sinful New York City. Critic Reviews for A Romance of Happy Valley

All Critics (1)

In A Romance of Happy Valley, where [Griffith's] own material swarms upon him with such richness as to embarrass his story, he does not hesitate in his choice. It is the story he flings overboard like dead cargo.
