With a multi-layered script of surprising twists and turns, as well as amazing performances from Noomi Rapace and Yvonne Strahovski, Angel of Mine is a surprise hit.

Despite the flaws and some dull detail, this is worth persevering with due to Noomi's disturbing characterisation...you can't look away, no matter how hard you try.

Though she clearly struggles at times, Rapace's scenes opposite co-star Yvonne Strahovski (as the mother of Lizzie's obsession) are both compassionate and compelling enough to keep an audience invested and unsettled.
