Movie Info

Jimmy Sin Chi-wai spins this bawdy romantic comedy based on a popular Hong Kong radio show. Michael (Michael Chow), Edmond (Edmond Leung), and Simon (Simon Lui) are hosts on a talk radio show that regularly places last in the ratings. When the station tells the three that their program has been axed, they spend their last show insulting callers and generally acting like louts. The show's sudden change in format is a surprise hit, and the next thing the three know is that they have been rehired with a new program called "The Banana Club." Meanwhile, Michael finds himself falling for a frequent caller named Vee (Paulyn Suen) who is involved with a married man; Edmond frets over his sexuality while a punk chick named Mad (Amanda Lee) quietly pines for him; and the show's wallflower secretary is hell-bent on getting Simon's love and attention -- no matter what.
