Movie Info

Unwittingly bamboozled into enlisting in the army as WWI erupts, a petty thief and his cop pursuer contend with each other and an obnoxious sergeant. The briefly big-time comedy teaming of Wallace Beery and Raymond Hatton resulted in several pictures, including this prototype of virtually all subsequent war comedies.

If we must have Beery-Hatton comedy, let us hereafter have Beery-Hatton comedy which does not seem merely a faint, useless burlesque of another film.
