A chronicle of the life of King George VI, who was forced to become King following the abdication of his brother King Edward VIII, and his relationship with his wife, Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon. A very similar film to The King's Speech (Film), but this one covers a few years back, other events such as the bomb that partially hit the Buckingham Palace, the victory in World War II, and the final years of the king.

Made for tv style of movie. Lightly done. No real depth. Something to pass the time..

Quite enjoyable film, they even touched on the guy who gave the king speech therapy lessons...

Same film as The King's Speech, but made in 2002 with no stars and no fanfair.

They were so much cuter in real life.

Really good. The sort of story that starts out slow and develops as it goes. Not the kind of movie that we usually get anymore. Americans have lost their patience with films.

This was an exceptionally done film about Albert (George VI) and the love of his life Elizabeth as they accept the responsibility of monarchs and lead Great Britain through the second World War.
