Movie Info
Billy the Kid Outlawed was the inaugural entry in PRC Pictures' "Billy the Kid" western series. While Buster Crabbe would become the actor most closely associated with the "Billy" films, Bob Steele stars in this maiden effort. Never letting the facts get in the way of a good story, this 52-minute effort depicts Billy as an innocent man, wrongly accused of being an outlaw. This requires Billy to skedaddle out of town in search of the real criminal. Like virtually all of PRC's cowboy flicks, Billy the Kid Outlawed was directed by the ubiquitous Sam Newfield.
