This 60-minute documentary follows the ordeal that 11-year-old Jared and his family undergo when he is diagnosed with a rare hereditary disease that causes him to begin to lose his sight. Guilt, shame, and anger are unearthed within his parents, as Jared himself makes incredible self-discoveries as a result both of his loss of vision and his awareness of how the problem is affecting his family.

Jared comes off as a plucky kid whose horizons aren't necessarily limited by the loss of his sight. They're just changed. That's the most inspiring thing in this movie. He may have been Blindsided, but he never lost his feet.
