Lollobrigida always seemed to be in the shadow of Sophia Loren, yet she was her own force.Terrific at comedy, she takes over the screen whenever she is on, and dominates in the best ways.
Some lovely visuals -- the Italian Riviera, Gina Lollobrigida, and Rock Hudson -- are at the service of this soufflé-light comedy.
