Part of the "Carry On Series", this is a satire on the French Revolution in which Sidney James portrays the Black Fingernail, a rip-off Scarlet Pimpernel using double entendres and jokes of questionable taste and a wide variety of disguises to hid his identity.

Audience Reviews for Don't Lose Your Head

They're all very silly but this is one is among the best of the lot, Fun story and the humour isn't just sex jokes all the time.

They had really started to go downhill by the time this little gem came out and it went a long way in returning the carry on series to the highs it once held in British film history...Still bloody silly but I do love them all.
