Fading Gigolo (2014)
Critic Consensus: Admittedly vulgar and ludicrous, Fading Gigolo gets a decent amount of mileage out of the entertaining chemistry between its starring duo.

Critic Reviews for Fading Gigolo
While Fading Gigolo has potential, the delivery makes it a wholly frustrating watch.
If you can get beyond the implausibility of Sharon Stone paying John Turturro to join her in a ménage à trois - and, frankly, I couldn't - then there are lightweight pleasures to be had amid the wry, angsty middle-aged male fantasy.
It would be misleading to suggest that the film falls into the so-bad-it's-good category. But a degree of obscure pleasure can be derived from the wrong-headedness of everything about it.
Taken as a whimsical but fiery romantic comedy, it has easily enough charm to get away with its own idiosyncrasies.
Audience Reviews for Fading Gigolo
Despite its good moments - and there really are a handful of them, largely thanks to the presence of Woody Allen -, this average comedy is so harmless in many ways that even its sweet message about loneliness and connection gets diluted by how perfunctory the plot is.
The writing and tone of Fading Gigolo is too uneven to make for a coherent, admirable film. The plot awkwardly shifts from melodrama to sexual comedy with no real justification. There are elements of the film that could have worked if the filmmakers had chosen one specific tone or message as opposed to several very different ones.
A wonderfully compelling an enjoyable comedy with a great cast. John Turturro truly embraces his material he conceived with a heartfelt performance and solid direction. Woody Allen is excellent.

|Murray:||Loved the movie from beginning to end. Great chemistry John Turturro and Allen. Laughed and was transported to another very sophisticated world for the entire film|
