Firestorm Rising (2001)

This story revolves around stolen codes for nuclear weapons which are intercepted and lead to the discovery of a plot to detonate a number of small "Backpack Nukes" in the U.S. The fiancee of the man responsible for this interception is assassinated in revenge, leading to his escape from society, but his associates and friends try to pull him back. When he thinks he can learn to love again, the situation worsens, and his new interest is kidnapped by the terrorists to lure him to his death.
