Aren't you getting tired of battles over computer disks?

Scripter Preston A. Whitmore II and helmer Kevin Hooks are obviously well-versed in film lore, for they have concocted a hodgepodge that recycles elements from several white-black team movies.

Lots of physical energy, but little else.

The situations are so ludicrous and the screenplay so barren of wit that the best it can come up with in the way of jokey humor is to have the characters compare their adventures to scenes in other movies.

Baldwin, in particular, has an appealing bad-boy quality.

On the whole, Baldwin seems pretty dim for a renowned cyber-anarchist. Also, he simply isn't in the same class of actor as Tony Curtis. Or Laurence Fishburne, who swaggers through this mess with his usual suave manliness.

Audience Reviews for Fled

Dodge and Piper are both prisoners who end up tied together in chains. They manage to flee from the prison and get to know each other. Dodge is a computer hacker who serves time in prison and Piper is a tough guy. Problems occur because of a floppy disc with delicate information and they run in to an attractive woman, a marshall, an honest cop and the Cuban mafia. I actually liked this movie very much and I don't know why I haven't seen it before.

A fast, furious and relentlessly exciting action-packed thriller that's a non-stop great time. It's wickedly funny and incredibly enjoyable from start to finish. A smart, funny, sexy and exhilarating roller-coaster ride that doesn't put the breaks on for anything. Laurence Fishburne and Stephen Baldwin are terrific, they have have such outrageous and enjoyable chemistry. They mix toughness and comedy perfectly together. A body-slamming, pistol-packing and tongue in cheek adventure. A wild ride of explosive action and outrageous humor.

Typical, overly vicious odd couple action-comedy since The Defiant Ones.
