Critic Reviews for A Friendship in Vienna
In the touching Friendship in Vienna, a young Jewish girl and the daughter of an Austrian Nazi remain best friends even as outside forces try to tear them apart.
Arthur Allan Seidelman's sure directorial touch is evident throughout, allowing for neither self-indulgence nor saccharinity. Further enhanced by Jean Simmons' narration and a richly evocative look, this is a film to treasure.
