If you enjoy Glee covers of terrible pop songs and occasional Broadway hits, cute choreography, fun costumes, and the character outlines of the characters from the television series, you will find yourself mildly entertained, as I did!

Hardcore Gleeks will probably thrill at this 3-D concert film, but the more casual viewer, drawn to the Fox TV show's snarky and sweet storylines and its campy aesthetic, won't find much to chew on here.

Fans of the television series may be more uplifted than this carping critic.

I'm afraid my heart wasn't warmed by their tales of personal growth, and I can't forgive the cast for what they did to that Journey song.

The set is big, cheap and nasty. The cast are as choreographed behind-the-scenes as on stage.

The zing of the performances and choreography pull it through, and it's hard not to emerge on a sherbety high.

Audience Reviews for Glee: The 3D Concert Movie
Dull, boring, cheesy, Glee is overrated and doesn't possess any redeeming values. This is a poorly done musical that doesn't deliver anything worthwhile and to old school music lovers like me, it's not very pleasant to witness classic rock songs being butchered by teens that can't sing. This film suffers from a bad script, a very poor cast and I really don't see why this stuff is so popular. To me, Glee is just an overrated mess that doesn't stand out and it's just a pitiful musical that doesn't work. This is a misfire and doesn't hold a candle to old musicals such as Rocky Horror Picture Show. This is filmmaking at its lowest form, and there are no redeeming factors whatsoever to this train wreck. Films like this just shows that Hollywood are running out of ideas and makes you wonder what will be released next. Jersey Shore: The Movie? Who knows? This was a painful viewing experience and I really don't see the appeal to this trash. Glee is just an uninspired piece of current popular culture that will fade away in the next decade and be forgotten afterwards. Avoid this film if you love old school musicals and well constructed musicals. If you're looking for something fun here, you'll get something that's tedious and poorly directed instead. One of the worst musicals in recent memory. Avoid like the plague, you'll be glad you did. If you're wondering what this film is like, imagine people that sing like popstars sing songs or trying to attempt to sing sing pop or rock songs and you have this movie.

Glee the Concert is not based off the show, its just another 3D concert to steal our money, but actually I enjoy their singing. I am not a fan of the show, but I am of their songs, call it one of my guilty pleasures.

I can't lie to myself that I'm already a gleek since I watched the series from the first season, and the news about this 3D Concert Movie just make me wanted to see this movie so badly.. I know that nothing special will happen as this is a concert movie, which is definitely doesn't have any story so I'm just letting myself to be relaxed and enjoying the performance the cast shown.. The whole song choice was ok, although I did hope for some song to be featured in this movie, but that's fine with me.. Overall, a perfect movie to complete a Gleek collection..
