Gun and a Hotel Bible is a rare instance of a faith-oriented film that acknowledges the complexity of making sense of the Bible and the complexity of the people who have to determine what to make of the text.

What I hope you'll appreciate about Gun and a Hotel Bible is that it doesn't try to hit you over the head with religion but presents its points and lets you decide.

Wildly original and impossible to forget...Bradley Gosnell and Daniel Floren (who also wrote the play that inspired the film) are both superb on screen.

I cannot really recommend Gun and a Hotel Bible because it is a film that offers up any number of provocative notions, but doesn't really follow through with many of them. Nevertheless, it is a film that dares to be a little different.

"Gun and a Hotel Bible" is entertaining, well-acted, thought-provoking and thematically, it is for mature audiences. I found it very engaging.
