I Won't Be Home for Christmas (2021)

Television showrunner Lauren Iungerich writes this Christmas-themed story, which also serves as her feature film directorial debut alongside co-director Elizabeth Avellan. The narrative centers on a sixteen-year-old girl who decides to go with her new boyfriend on a skiing trip to avoid her family over the winter holidays. However, just a few days before their scheduled departure, her boyfriend dumps her. Reeling from the breakup, she must spend the holidays with her family and endure their strange yuletide traditions.
