In this alien invasion film, a vehicle crashes near a hospital. When they bring the victim in for treatment, it turns out that he is actually an escaped alien prisoner, and the hospital must either fight to keep him, or give him up as the aliens demand.

What is remarkable about the film is not merely that Bridges has made a perfectly rounded piece of work out of a small budget production but that he has done it with a style and polish which many large budget productions come nowhere near to emulating.
