Critic Reviews for Josh and S.A.M.

All Critics (8) | Top Critics (3)

Josh and S.A.M. is a film that engaged my interest only sporadically, because I couldn't believe its premise and, what's more, didn't care about the characters. And yet in all fairness I'd guess that this movie might be fun for younger viewers.

Tierney is funny and convincing as Josh, channelling his pain into fights or fibs. And, as the perplexed dad, Stephen Tobolowsky cements his status as the cinema's foremost nerd-interpreter.

Audience Reviews for Josh and S.A.M.

The movie is ok but a little bit over the top, the whole adventure thing was pretty cool but it seems in the movie that the parents really didn't seem to care enough that there 2 boys stole a car and they hadn't even heard from them for a while. The funniest parts were when the little kid was driving the (7 yr old one) Because he kinda looked like a cool gangsta with the hat and drove fast... not the greatest movie but good to see if you like movies that are on the road alot
