Movie Info

Besotted by alcohol, Australian cattle-station owner Michael McGuire is led to believe that crooked gambler Richard Connor is his long-lost son. Connor and his partner-in-crime go along with the gag, convincing McGuire's daughter that they've arrived to help the man save his livestock, when in fact they're planning a swindle.

Perhaps the reader who goes to see Kangaroo will judge that I have given disproportionate significance to this failed, fake western... But it is in films like these that one at least gets the glimpse of a better, hypothetical work of art.
