Movie Info
Felix Manderville (Vincent Price) is a traveling magician who manages to make young women disappear in this exploitation thriller. The trouble is, Felix drugs the femmes and sells them to white slave traders with the help of his mind-reading assistant Rebecca (Martha Hyer). Marie Armstrong (Anne Smyrner) and her husband Stephen (George Nader) are American tourists who fall into the trap of the felonious flesh pedlars. Was white slavery really something that would shock people in the sixties? I don't know, but it doesn't shock anyone today. This thriller has a few thrills, but it's very tame and boring for the most part. And Price is the only good actor in the cast, but we don't get to know his character well enough, I was disappointed.
