Well, it's cute in a way. Only not as cute as I thought to be. Just like watch NatGeo Channel in cinema. The narrative is completely excessive & annoying.

A film about beauty and magic of nature, I could even say a real dedication to the Nature and the childhood. This is a story of an enchanting world where children find themselves in untouched paradise, away from the adult world. The place becomes a refuge for them, a kind of magic mirror through which they discover the unknown beings in relations to their own lives. If you remember childhood holidays in the countryside when time no longer exists and when the grownups are gone - this will take you back... fields of poppies, trees to climb and hide, trails of light with their white playful butterflies!

Directors Claude Nuridsany and Marie Pérennou made a poetic journey into the wonders of the micro cosmos of a secret pond with some of the best cinematography I witnessed in my half century of watching films! It was a real adventure and pleasure to be able to see the wonders which are all around us, and which we miss on a daily basis.

If you are a dreamer, you love poetry, love nature and think of yourself as the part of a well organised Universe - this film is something you should not miss! Colourful and poetic, this film was filmed between 2008 and 2010, and finally was edited perfectly in 81 minutes that all of us can enjoy a real art experience.
