Movie Info

This delightful spoof of a "typical" double feature bill of the 1930s is introduced by George Burns. The first film, "Dynamite Fists," is a black-and-white takeoff of such boxing dramas as Golden Boy. The best is saved for last: "Blansky's Beauties of 1933," an all-stops-out lampoon of Busby Berkeley musicals.

It's a real pleasure to see a movie that I takes on all the cliches, from attractively fatal diseases through triumphant curtain calls, and plays with them.
