Movie Info

Pinto Rustlers was one of 19 westerns ground out by Tom Tyler for bargain-basement Reliable Pictures between 1934 and 1936. When his father is killed by a gang of rustlers, Tom Dawson (Tyler) swears revenge. Deputized for this purpose, he goes undercover to infiltrate the gang, posing as a notorious bandit whom he closely resembles. By the time he catches up with the crooks, Tom is also obliged to rescue heroine Ann Walton (Catherine Cotter) from their clutches. George Walsh, the brother of director Raoul Walsh and a former silent-film leading man, plays the principal "heavy."
