Movie Info

Based on the novel by Joan Didion, this film chronicles the rise and fall of one woman's acting career. Model Maria Wyeth is discovered by director Carter Lang, who marries her. When Lang divorces her and her best friend commits suicide, she has a nervous breakdown.
