[A] singularly distasteful piece of work.

Canet deserves credit for going to such extremes - even if his conceit runs a bit long - and for taking the satire to the point of no return, rather than offering up the kind of easy reconciliation seen in most movies about the movie business.

The problem is that all the stuff involving Canet and his fumblings is pretty awful and just grows increasingly intolerable as the film goes on.
The only problem Rock'n Roll has is that, after the first hour or so, which brilliantly exposes its objective and representation, the movie seems to rush to the end... [Full Review in Spanish]
