Movie Info

In this backstage musical drama, a 27-year-old movie star finds herself a Hollywood has-been and endeavors to return to her Broadway roots. There is one play in particular she wants to be in. Unfortunately, the director is the lover she jilted several years before. She is opposed by a lovely dancer who is also in love with the director. Trouble ensues, but in the end the star and her director are happily reunited. Songs include: "I'll Take You as You Are", "One Step Ahead of Everybody," "The Ties That Bind," "Breakfast in Bed," "Behind the Mask" (Bob Hilliard, Carl Sigman) and "I Think You're Wonderful."
