Silence of the Heart (1984)
Movie Info
When two young people fall in love, the woman experiences pressure from her family. She is already promised to another in a pre-arranged marriage, but the two lovers cannot fight their unbridled passion for each other. They meet in school, and despite her misgivings, the young man wins the heart of the reluctant girl. Ultimately, the woman must make a difficult decision when she finds herself torn between her own desires and her traditional family's wishes for her future.
