Critic Reviews for Song Without End
A must-see motion picture for music lovers, an enriching experience for family audiences, and a particularly compelling attraction for social security eligibles.
Anyone moved by musical richness and pictorial splendor should go quite nutty over this film.
Most of the venerable Hollywood clichés about the night-thoughts of musical geniuses are doggedly repeated, and some of the concert-hall excerpts are annoyingly brief. On the whole, though, it's an item worth seeing and hearing.
The great music is THE thing in this musical biography.
Audience Reviews for Song Without End
Often ponderous and deathly slow but Liszt's music makes up for a great deal.
