Critic Reviews for Stealing Chaplin

Despite the rough edges, Stealing Chaplin has an unflagging, garrulous confidence that whisks you along.
Stealing Chaplin overcomes its low-budget limitations in no small part because of the easy banter between the siblings, a mixture of timing and delivery that can only be borne from years of wheedling and needling, translated into their characters.

Mildly amusing and instantly forgettable, Paul Tanter's Las Vegas-set crime comedy riffs very, very, very loosely on a macabre incident in showbiz history.
Stealing Chaplin is a fun, forgettable and not terribly well put-together flick. It's worth a watch as it has some stand-out moments but it's not one to make too much effort to seek out.
Plays like Quentin Tarantino making a slapstick comedy.
If you're a fan of British dry humor, I think you'll find the fun in Stealing Chaplin.
