It's less a visual tour-de-force than force-fed pretentious shots meant to convey artistry.

It was kinda fun...watching poor George's deteriorating predicament. I kept thinking of Monty Python's Black Knight.

Whether you'll stick with the movie through to its disappointing end will depend entirely on your stomach for blood, dismemberment, and, ultimately, copouts of epic proportion.

Still, even with Krantz's misplaced political advocacy, Sublime comes across as an impressive feature.

Relatively-sophisticated for a sci-fi horror flick, this psychological thriller scares the bejesus out of you while subtly using malpractice as metaphor for a generally unacknowledged aspect of American culture.

Maybe... if you spend your life worrying... then the only way that your life will have meaning is if what you fear becomes real.

A man goes to the hospital for a routine colonoscopy, but finds himself drugged, bearing strange scars and increasingly unable to tell reality from his paranoid fantasy. A promising scenario undone by rookie directing mistakes: it drags in the beginning, creates a nice sense of mystery and dread in the middle, then blows it with an anticlimax.

I really wish this movie didn't take so long to get where it was going. Granted, it is one of the most terrifying concept for a film I have ever seen: the horror stems from the compounding medical errors visited upon the protagonist. I wasn't really on board for the twist at the end, but I cannot say that this is a bad movie. It didn't deserve to be as big as it was, but it's pretty respectable.
