Based on the true stories have always fascinated me. We can read those stories as one page article in a newspaper, but watching it in a motion picture is totally different and give a closer experience to the original event. I've seen variety of 'taken' and 'abducted' movies that inspired by the real incidents and this one is not bad at all in contrast to its budget. Minimal cast, descent performances, enthralling storytelling, overall a good movie as for the standard to be a television movie.

One thing these movies teach us is the importance of family and its members. To see their struggle to retrieve the loved one makes our heart melt. This film is about a mother whose son, Kobe was taken away by none other than her ex husband, the child's biological father against her will and the law. To find out where they are, who's going to help her and will they reunite is the remaining story told in a exciting way. The thrilling last scene was good, intrigued by the acceleration. Since it was no a fiction, definitely worth a watch.

You know what is going to happen pretty early on but it is good anyway.

Fairly standard stuff for Lifetime, but decent nonetheless. The subplot of relationships between Asian and African-American people was brought out a bit, and the reconciliation scene between Tiffany and her mom, where the older woman had to face up to the consequences of keeping Tiffany and her father apart, was well done. Weakest aspect to this movie was the rather tiresome "Don't shut me out" routine between Tiffany and her husband. And the little boy was adorable - wish he could have had a more expanded role.

Taraji did a wonderful job reenacting this true story.

Amazing story. As a new mum I can't even imagine what a parent goes through when their child is taken by another parent. Not bad for a Lifetime movie, but Henson needs some acting lessons and the dialogue sometimes bordered on cheesy

As a parent, the worst fear in life is losing a child. This is a captivating true story of Tiffany Rubin. It tells of her fight to rescue her son Kobe, who was abducted and taken to South Korea by his biological father. Child abductions are serious matters and international abductions are even more difficult with daunting international laws to be followed. However a mother's love knows no bounds. With limited aid from the authorities and no money to hire a private investigator, she turned to Mark Miller, the founder of the non-profit organization: The American Association for Lost Children. Together they bravely rescued her son and brought him home. This movie was heartfelt, supported by a quality cast with an emphasis on story and drama. We would feel the heartache and struggles that families go through when seemingly impossible situations strike. What would you do if you were placed in a situation such as hers?

The amazing story of Tiffany Rubin, an amazing mother who would do anything for her child. Academy Award Nominee Taraji P. Henson always brings something new whenever she acts. I was left speechless by how effortlessly she played this part. The film earned her an emmy nomination for best actress in a mini-series or a movie. Please watch this film and see how a mother's love can overcome anything.
