Movie Info

The tenants of an inner-city apartment house, tired of the activities of the drug addicts and criminals in their building, turn them in to the police. Ruthlessly nasty- like Findlay was raging behind the camera, urging on the worst aspects of fictional humanity to mirror the real life struggle in the streets of NYC.

Audience Reviews for Tenement

The epitome of a grindhouse flick for sure. But made in the mid 80s, a bit too late to catch that flair that it was missing, maybe. Held my attetion, and you really do cheer for the people of the tenement house. Some violent sequences are quite interestingly done. It has some disturbing parts, and shouldn't dissappoint anyfan of exploitation film. You also don't see alot of female directors in this genre, so kudos to Roberta Findley.
