Critic Reviews for The Alphabet Murders

Tashlin creates a sort of live-action cartoon, with distorting angles yielding disorienting juxtapositions, whether from the explosive results of a dish of kidneys flambé or during balletic capers at a bowling alley.

It was really as simple as ABC why this film was a dud, most of the suspense was lost in Tashlin's poorly conceived comic interpretation.

Audience Reviews for The Alphabet Murders

Tony tries but this is middling, Robert Morley would have much more sense as Poirot. Contains an amusing cameo by Margaret Rutherford and Stringer Davis as Miss Marple and her loyal sidekick.
