One looks at the sights both of setting and fisticuffing of the one of which there is about as much as of the other, but it is hard to stir up a thrill of personal interest in the individual welfare of the fisticuffers.

Partially melodramatic and with an interesting theme centered around an Egyptian locale, the feature possesses a good picture punch.
The exterior settings are as substantial as the genuine article, while the interiors of the palace, harem, hotel and other places bespeak of a minute attention to detail.
The scene on the desert, showing Mohamed kneeling on the sand beside his camel and making his devotions while the hungry animal feeds, is a fit subject for a great painting.
It is a de luxe presentation of a de luxe story of romance and mystery. It combines action and thrills with spectacular effects and artistic treatment, to say nothing of the histrionic powers exhibited by each of the players.
