Extremely heavy-handed Christian movie wherein five strangers are waylaid by an extreme storm that closes the only road out of the podunk territory they are travelling so their only option is a diner a few miles back up the road that not all of them saw as they passed by. Once there, they meet the owner, Jesus, who offers them nothing but water and a free meal of their choosing. Many have a difficult time believing this is the son of God, but one by one he proves it to them. I liked the movie, but I'm a Christian. I do not see how this in your face religious story will convert any non-believers. Too much hammer, not enough gentle persuasion.

If you are a Christian who partakes of nothing but Christian-produced media, you will probably love this terribly written and acted movie. If you are anyone else, run. Who is this movie for? Why do Christians make movies that exist only to beat the viewer over the head with the Gospel, when 99% of the people who watch such movies are Christians? The saying "preaching to the choir" was created for these movies. If Christian filmmakers would focus more on storytelling and less on proselytizing, their movies might find a broader audience. But until that happens, Christian movies will be almost exclusively watched by Christians who get tingly imagining all the sinners those movies are saving. Surprise ending: I'm a Christian, but I have taste, and I'm not going to watch garbage just because it oozes Christianity.

It was a great way of showing how God works today.

I thought it was great the way "Jesus " was able to explain why things happened the way they did in people's lives. How he said over and over how much he loved them. He knew their hurts and how it shaped them. The way they showed him honoring the grandmothers prayers but ultimately the man didn't accept him.
Quality was low and acting, eh, but it takes a while to build the industry. I think God will honor the makers of this.

My number 1. Most wonderful and yet simple movie, simple life and abundant life mix.

A dark and stormy night on a lonely road. 5 strangers rendezvous in a mysterious diner, who's owner is more than preoccupied with the thought that he might be God Himself.
Okay, the son of God.
Okay, a lame-o setup. "A dark and stormy night ...", really? Is that all you got? Is that your opening gambit? Yep. That's it. And it never rises above that.
Thrilling? No. Thought provoking? Not even.
It's a family film. That I'll say.
