What separates the special from so many others of its type comes towards the end, in a one-on-one conversation between Smith and Janet Hubert... It justifies the special's existence all on its own.
A heartfelt get-together of old friends, this will have you seeking out old episodes of this iconic '90s sitcom.
I am so glad I watched this, and I love the way they put it together, good clips that matched the story and didn't feel superfluous. The emotional beats were incredible.
There were some weird editing moments in there, but all in all, this makes me cry and laugh and reflect on the show that I watched religiously, they did that very well.
You expect reunions to be all about the best of times. This one feels much more interested in endings and the bittersweet.
