Movie Info

This film charts the misadventures of gold-digging chorine Mary, who marries powerful bootlegger Shoots Magis so that she can live in the lap of luxury -- only to suffer a disappointment when Prohibition is repealed. After a few amusing episodes with the deadly but likeable Magis, he's unexpectedly bumped off.

Audience Reviews for The Gay Bride

Convoluted plot is helped by Carole and ZaSu's presence but not enough to make this a good movie. Carole always considered this the worst film she ever made.
