Audience Reviews for The Last Confession of Alexander Pearce
This movie follows the final days of Irish convict Alenander Pearce's life who escaped from prison not once but twice now as he awaits execution he decides to tell his final story. The year is 1824 and the british penal colony on Van Diemen's land is little more then a living hell chained to a wall in the darkness of his cell Pearce is visited by Father Connolly priest of the colony and a fellow irishman little does Connolly know that the confession he is about to hear is shocking an about how one survived hell on earth by doing the unthinkable. I can fully recommend this movie there isnt too much here as the film clocks in at alittle over a hour but the story thats told will hold most peoples attention as its both compelling and interesting and just goes to show what lengths someone would go to escape the tortures of prison
