An early 70's thriller that has a fascinating premise. The filmmakers approach with the antagonist is compelling and there are a few moments that work quite well. Still, it's a low-budget thriller with some painful bits and atrocious dialogue. It's good and bad at the same time. Gotta love the cheesy 70's music during the 'prostitute as bait' scene. It's also particularly fascinating seeing the rudimentary police work involving "modern" technology like computers and face matching. Nowadays it all seems so dated but at the time it must have been high-tech.
