Movie Info

The second of Tim McCoy's 10-western series for Puritan Pictures, Man From Gun Town stars McCoy as strong, silent Tim Hanlon. The plot gets under way when heroine Ruth McArthur (Billie Seward) is cheated out of her property by nasty De Long (Wheeler Oakman). Hero Hanlon abhors violence, but has no other choice when the villains steadfastly refuse to play fair. In a truly offbeat denouement, Tim rides off into the sunset minus the heroine, the better to brood over the blood he's been forced to shed. Rather shoddily produced, Man From Gun Town deserves high marks for energy and originality.
