Movie Info

Ernie Klenk (Danny Kaye) is a tightly wound clerk responsible for approving applications for the Diner's Club. He battles the modern menacing computers and high tech gadgets in a humorous man versus machine gag. Ernie is always nervous under the watchful eye of his boss Martindale (Everett Sloane). When a notorious mobster (Telly Savalas) become a card holder, Ernie's life is put in jeopardy by the calculating crook. Ernie tries to escape his impending doom in a slapstick chase scene that is a shameless comedic promotion of a Diner's Club membership card and all the benefits
